Rodrigo Prestes Machado holds a degree in Computer Science from the Catholic University of Pelotas (UCPel, 2001), a master’s degree in Informatics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio, 2005), and a PhD in Informatics in Education from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS, 2019). Since 2010, he has been a professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology (IFRS) in Porto Alegre, Brazil. In 2024, he also took on the position of honorary professor at the Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M). Rodrigo is interested in developing innovative systems and integrating computers into educational environments, exploring how technology can enhance learning experiences and improve academic outcomes.
