SUMMARY:

Based on research conducted in repositories and databases of Brazilian publications, it is possible to affirm that different methodologies and pedagogical strategies are adopted for teaching psychomotricity in teacher training programs. A predominance of in-person training is observed, typically organized into short-term workshops with a focus on practical activities and body-based experiential learning. One identified aspect is the limited availability of content and materials on publicly accessible platforms or digital resources. The analysis of the studies also revealed the importance of deepening the connection between theory and practice in the field of psychomotricity, contributing to a more critical, accessible, and contemporary teacher training process aligned with the current demands of education. In this context, the following research question emerges: How can pedagogical practices be designed to stimulate the psychomotor development of children in basic education using the theory of creative learning? To address this research problem, the focus of the study is on conducting pedagogical training for teachers working in AEE (Specialized Educational Assistance) in the Department of Education of the Municipality of Vacaria. The idea is to assist these teachers in addressing the difficulties they encounter in their schools, considering the theme of psychomotor development. Moreover, the proposal is to introduce the concept of creative learning and analyze whether it is effective in generating pedagogical interventions that foster psychomotor development. To obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the results, qualitative research methodology was chosen, using bibliographic research and a case study approach. The case study will be conducted through pedagogical training workshops wherein participants will complete a workshop divided into four modules focusing on psychomotor development, creative learning, and the creation of resources that can be used in pedagogical interventions with basic education students. Data collection will occur via a questionnaire aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of strategies linked to creative learning and psychomotricity. It is important to highlight that the project was approved by the IFRS Research Ethics Committee under approval number 69667123.6.0000.8024.
