This project is conducted within the Professional and Technological Education Graduate Program (Profept) in the National Network. It is part of the research line "Organization and Memories of Pedagogical Spaces in Professional and Technological Education (PTE)" and falls under Macroprojecto 4: "History and Memories in the Context of PTE," which is dedicated to studying the history of the Irmão Pedro State Technical School. The temporal scope of analysis for this institution spans from 1960 to 1980. To this end, we rely on the works of Ciavatta (2014), Ramos (2014), Saviani (2019), Manfredi (2017), Borges (2017), Pollak (1992), Le Goff (1992), Amaral (2015), Werle (2004, 2007, 2019), Bastos (2012), Magalhães (2004, 2007), Gatti Júnior (2002, 2015), Nosella and Buffa (2005), and Sanfelice (2010) to underpin the categories used to achieve the outlined objectives.
