The research "History and Memory of the Higher Technology Course in Multimedia Production at IFRS Campus Alvorada: verticalization as a structuring factor in education and its impact on the trajectory of graduates and students" aims to analyze the trajectory and impact of this course, with special attention to the verticalization of
education and the effects of Professional and Technological Education (EPT) on students. This exploratory qualitative research will be conducted with graduates from the Integrated High School in Audio and Video and the Technical Course in Photography who have enrolled in the Higher Technology Course in Multimedia Production, as well as with current students and graduates who have experienced the verticalization process within the institution. The investigation will address curricular changes, resulting innovations, institutional memory, and the impact on local audiovisual production. This study is original in its focus on the local impact of cultural incentive policies and in its in-depth analysis of students' educational trajectories, contributing to the appreciation of the course and the improvement of education at the researched institution..
