SUMMARY:

This research project is linked to the Professional Master's Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT) of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre Campus. It will be developed in conjunction with the Research Line “Educational Practices in Professional and Technological Education”, in the Macroproject “Methodological proposals and teaching resources in formal and non-formal teaching spaces in EPT”. Considering the specificities of the Capes Teaching Area, in which this Professional Master's program is inserted, we wish to develop this research in an interdisciplinary way, investigating the theme of Professional Learning (Young Apprentice Program), seeking to understand similarities and differences with Professional and Technological Education. The research aims to contribute to the continuing education of educators who work in Professional Apprenticeship (Young Apprentice Program), aiming at the development of practices that bring them closer to the basic principles of Professional and Technological Education, especially regarding the teaching of social rights of young people and adolescents. The methodological approach of this study will be qualitative, since it will seek to understand the universe of Professional Apprenticeship (Young Apprentice Program) based on the experiences of educators who work in this context. Initially, a literature review will be carried out, based on the publications of articles, Master's dissertations and Doctoral theses in the academic journal portals Observatório ProfEPT, Portal de Periódicos da Capes and Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD), seeking to understand what is being published about the training of educators for Professional Apprenticeship (Young Apprentice Program). Semi-structured interviews will then be used as a data collection instrument, and the results will be analyzed based on Discursive Textual Analysis. Based on the preliminary results of the research, an Educational Product will be developed, implemented and evaluated to contribute to the practice of educators in Professional Learning (Young Apprentice Program) in different spaces, aiming to bring them closer to the basic principles of Professional and Technological Education and the teaching of social rights to young people and adolescents. Likewise, it is estimated that the scientific knowledge generated by this research will contribute to different spaces of Professional and Technological Education, as well as to society in general, through the availability of the research results in open access repositories and scientific portals.
