The present dissertation, entitled "Labor Law and the Construction of Civic Awareness: Perspectives and Challenges in Professional and Technological Education", presents the results of a research project aimed at analyzing how a pedagogical practice for teaching labor rights can foster the holistic and civic education of students enrolled in the Technical Course in Internet Informatics Integrated with Upper Secondary Education at IFC – Rio do Sul Campus. The research addressed topics such as Labor Law, Citizenship, and Professional and Technological Education. This study was developed within the scope of the Professional Master's Program in Professional and Technological Education in a National Network (PROFEPT), under the research line Educational Practices in Professional and Technological Education (EPT), Macroproject 1 – Methodological Proposals and Teaching Resources in Formal and Non-formal Educational Spaces in EPT, supervised by Professor Dr. Josiane Carolina Soares Ramos Procasko and co-supervised by Professor Dr. Liliane Madruga Prestes. With a qualitative approach and applied nature, the research adopted an exploratory perspective. The methodological strategy involved bibliographic research, literature review, analysis of dissertations related to the topic, and documentary research on labor legislation and the Pedagogical Project of the Technical Course in Internet Informatics. Field research was conducted through questionnaires applied in person to students of the aforementioned course and virtually to teachers. Data analysis was carried out using content analysis and led to the development of an educational product. The research findings indicated that both participating groups consider the topics to be relevant, and that students demonstrated understanding and interest in expanding their knowledge. In this context, a virtual game was developed with the aim of contributing to the learning process about labor rights and, consequently, to civic education.
