Professional and Technological Education. Thousand Women. Evaluation. Monitoring.
Comprehensive Human Formation. This project presents the research that will be carried out within the scope of the Professional Master's Degree in Professional and Technological Education of the Porto Alegre Campus of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS), in the Research Line Organization and Memories of Pedagogical Spaces in Professional and Technological Education (EPT). The research aims to analyze the essential elements to be considered in the evaluation and monitoring of the Thousand Women Program, a public policy of Professional Education, considering the concepts of EPT in the integral human formation. In view of this, the intention is to identify possible instruments for the evaluation and monitoring of said Program. The Thousand Women Program is the result of an international cooperation between the Secretariat of Professional and Technological Education of the Ministry of Education (Setec) of the Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC) and the Canadian Colleges, which culminated in the implementation of pilot projects to serve one thousand women in the North and Northeast regions of Brazil, from 2006 to 2010. With the publication of Ordinance No. 1,015 of July 21, 2011, the objective of which was to promote professional and technological training in conjunction with the increase in the schooling of women in situations of social vulnerability, it was possible for all Brazilian Federal Institutes (IFs) to present proposals for the Mulheres Mil Program, thus becoming a public policy. The IFRS has offered Mulheres Mil since 2011, with the participation of approximately 3,017 women to date. The qualitative research will have its methodology based on the perspective of historical and dialectical materialism, in coherence with the participatory research, and is necessary since there is no systematized data on the results of Mulheres Mil at the IFRS to date. To this end, documents related to the Mulheres Mil Program will be used, as well as bibliographies related to public policies and EPT, from the perspective of professional education committed to comprehensive human development. Based on the results of the investigation, the educational product (EP) will be constructed: Mulheres Mil IFRS: guidelines and instruments for the evaluation and monitoring of the Mulheres Mil Program from the perspective of comprehensive human development.
