THE CONSTRUCTION OF A GUIDE FOR WELCOME IMMIGRANTS IN THE MUNICIPAL BASIC EDUCATION NETWORK OF FARROUPILHA UNDER THE LENS OF TRANSLINGUISTIC PEDAGOGY

This research project aims to describe the needs of reception policies involving immigrant students and families and the school community in the municipality of Farroupilha, Rio Grande do Sul. The research, of a qualitative and exploratory nature, will include the participation of immigrant students, teachers and school administrators of Basic Education. The data will be analyzed through Content Analysis (Bardin, 2011) and Data Triangulation (Minayo et al., 2010), seeking to understand the integration challenges faced by the participating actors and the possible effective reception practices. Thus, based on the results and theoretical perspectives on interculturality and translingual pedagogy, a booklet will be prepared with guidelines for the school team, aiming to strengthen reception, inclusive education and social, cultural and linguistic appreciation.
